Rolls-Royce eTools Get Started

Access Requirements: In order to access and utilize your eTools subscription, which includes access to Rolls-Royce Global Supplier Portal (GSP), SourcePass, and an FIS Basic Level of Assurance (BLOA) Identity Certificate, you must have an Exostar’s Managed Access Gateway (MAG) user account, as well as complete an eTools subscription purchase via Exostar’s Web Store. The entire process is outlined below.

Step 1. Register

In order to access Rolls-Royce Global Supplier Portal (GSP), you must receive an email invitation from Rolls-Royce. Locate that email to begin the account registration process.

To complete MAG account registration:
1. Click the Accept Invitation button, located in the email invitation from the Exostar system.
2. Your browser displays a Get started with Exostar dialogue box. Click the Get Started button.
3. On the Complete the following information page, review the data for accuracy and input any missing fields. Select your Organization Headquarters Location from the country drop-down menu. Click Next.
A confirmation message displays account registration details and further instructions to be on the look-out for an account activation email.

Step 2. Activate Account

Once Exostar approves your organization registration, you receive an account activation email. Please review all information provided in the email, paying special attention to your Account Details and User ID

IMPORTANT: Since you received and accepted the invitation, you are automatically designated as the Organization Administrator for your company. For more information on your administrative responsibilities, please see the MAG Organization Administrator page.

To activate your user account:
1. Locate the Account Activation email. Click the Activate My Account button.
2. Review the Password Policy. Input and confirm your permanent Password. Click Next.
NOTE: Your Email Address or User ID and Password are used for all subsequent MAG logins.
3. Review the information on the screen concerning your security questions. Select and answer your Security Questions. Click Next to open the MAG Dashboard.

Step 3. Accept Terms and Conditions

Once you successfully activate your MAG account, you must accept the Rolls-Royce Global Supplier Portal (GSP) Terms and Conditions. To accept the Rolls-Royce Global Supplier Portal (GSP) Terms and Conditions, you must have the Organization Administrator or Rolls-Royce Global Supplier Portal (GSP) Application Administrator role. Access to is not possible for any users in your organization until Terms and Conditions are accepted, as well as a successful eTools subscription purchase. 

To accept Terms and Conditions:
1. Locate the Rolls-Royce Global Supplier Portal (GSP) tile, located under the My Application section of your MAG Dashboard. Click the Agree to Terms button.
NOTE: If the tile says Pending Terms, an Organization Administrator or Rolls-Royce Global Supplier Portal (GSP) Application Administrator must accept terms.
2. Click Continue to view the Rolls-Royce Global Supplier Portal (GSP) Terms and Conditions.
3. Review the Terms and Conditions. Check the box for I have read and agree to these terms and conditions. Click Next to complete the process.

Step 4. Purchase eTools Subscription

Once you successfully set-up your MAG account and accept the Rolls-Royce Global Supplier Portal (GSP) Terms and Conditions, you must complete an eTools bundle subscription purchase. This bundle includes access to Rolls-Royce Global Supplier Portal (GSP), as well as a Federated Identity Service (FIS) Basic Level of Assurance (BLOA) Identity Certificate.

eTools subscriptions can be purchased by anyone within your company, but we recommend that your eTools Application Administrator complete this purchase.  If you purchased a subscription, and you are not the eTools Application Administrator for your company, please notify your eTools Application Administrator of this purchase.

To complete an eTools purchase:
1. From your Exostar MAG account, go to the Registration Requests tab.  Click the Authorize Application sub- tab.
2. Locate your request on the list, and click the Request ID link.
3. Review information, and then select Approve.  Click Next.
4. If you ran out of purchased eTools subscriptions, a notification “Payment required” will appear at the top of the page.  Write down your Exostar Org ID as you will need it to complete the purchase, and then click the Exostar Web Store link.
5. In the Exostar Web Store, select your Exostar Org ID from the drop-down menu.
6. You will see the list of users who require eTools subscriptions.  Enter the quantity of subscriptions you would like to purchase, and click Add to Cart.
7. Review your cart, and click Proceed to Checkout.  If you have a prepaid voucher code, you can use it now.
8. Enter your payment information.  If you choose to pay via invoice, your order will not be filled until the invoice is paid in full.
9. Review your order, check the box to confirm that you have reviewed the disclaimer, and click Submit Order

Step 5. Request Access

Once you successfully complete a eTools purchase, you must request FIS BLOA Identity Certificate access via MAG. To request access:

1. Login to MAG. Select Request Access in the Federated Identity Service (FIS) section, bottom right corner, of the My 2FA Credentials section.

2. In the FIS Certificate Information section, make selections from the drop-down menus provided. 

NOTE: These selections must match your Basic Level of Assurance (BLOA) Identity Certificate purchase.

3. In the User Information section, verify all data input. Click Next.

A confirmation screen displays. Your Organization’s FIS Administrator must approve your request. Once your request is approved, you can download your certificate.


Step 6. Download Certificate

Once your Organization’s FIS Application Administrator approves your BLOA Identity Certificate request, you receive an email confirmation prompting you to download your certificates. Locate this email and follow the steps below:

1. Go to the My Account tab. Click the Manage Certificates sub-tab.

2. Enter the passcode you received via email from Exostar. Click Submit.

NOTE: The passcode is a 16-digit number separated by hyphens; for example: 1234-5678-1234-5678. You must enter all characters, including hyphens OR leave the hyphens out completely. The passcode is NOT the same as your MAG account password.

3. Download your certificates. If your passcode is correct, the certificate displays with a status. The system automatically selects the certificate to download. 

NOTE: You are only able to see the Download Certificates sub-tab under Manage Certificates when you have an approved FIS request pending certificate download. If no certificates are available for download, you cannot view this sub-tab. 

After the certificate successfully downloads, a confirmation message displays.

NOTE: Refer to the FAQ section on the FIS Training Resources page for information on any certificate download errors.
