Responsibilities
Application Administrators can perform the following common tasks only for applications which you are an Admin for in Managed Access Gateway (MAG):

Accept Terms and Conditions
You must be the Application Administrator for the application for which you want to accept terms and conditions. To accept terms and conditions:
1. Login to your MAG account. From your MAG Dashboard, find the specific application tile and click Agree to Terms.
2. Click Continue to view the Terms and Conditions.
3. Review the Terms and Conditions. Check the box I have read and agree to these terms and conditions. Click Next.
NOTE: Once you receive the confirmation message, users within your organization can request access to the application.
Approve/Deny Access Request
To approve or deny application access requests:
1. From your MAG Dashboard, select the Requests tab.
2. A new page will display with any requests for new users or application access.
3. If there are any pending requests, you will see a number display for application or user requests. To approve hover your mouse over the Application/User Requests field and select the drop-down Authorize Applications.
4. Next you can select all or individual users to approve by checking the box next to the request and select Approve to approve all new application/user requests.
NOTE: If you choose to Deny any requests, you must include a reason in the comments then select Continue.
5. Once the requests have been approved any new users will receive an email notifying their account is active and they will have access to the approved applications as well.
NOTE: You can also access any pending requests by selecting Registration Request tab and then select Authorize Application. Next click the link to view workflow in a new browser/window, a new page will open with any pending requests.
View Request Details
To view the details of the application or user request:
- Next to the request, click the Open icon to view the details.
- The user request details will display with any comments, personal information and administrator review. You can also Approve or Deny the request.
NOTE: To view the user’s full email address, hover your mouse cursor over the email field.

Request Application Access
To request application access on behalf of someone else:
1. From your MAG Dashboard, select the Administration tab.
2. Click View Users sub-tab.
3. Locate the desired user’s account via the search option. Click the hyperlinked User ID.
4. In the Application Settings section of the user account, select the desired Request Access button.
NOTE: You must then approve the request via the Registration Request tab.
Suspend Application Access
To suspend application access:
1. From your MAG Dashboard, select the Administration tab.
2. Click View User tab. Complete a Search for the user.
3. Select the User ID hyperlink to open user’s profile.
4. Under Application Settings, click Suspend next to desired application.
5. Choose the suspension reason in pop-up window. Click Suspend.
Manage Email Subscriptions
Email subscription management provides the ability for Application Administrators to disable certain email notifications, such as profile updates, email updates, or user registration notifications. To manage email subscriptions:
1. Login to your MAG account.
2. Click the Profile Menu (your name at the top, right corner). Select Email Settings.
3. Select email notifications you want to turn on or off.
4. Click Submit.
New Search Interface
The new search interface allows Administrators to apply more filters. As an Administrator you can filter by:
- User ID, Last Name, First Name, Org ID, Organization Name, Business Unit, and Application Name.
- You can apply a Rule/Condition to the available fields and type in a value to be matched.
- The ”Is” condition matches field values to exactly what is typed.
- The “Contains” condition expands the search to include any value that includes the typed text.
- To apply more rules, you can click Add Rule to add additional search criteria. (To remove the added rule, click the X option).
- Click Search to display the results.
