Exostar provides the following services to HII, click on an application below to learn more.

Managed Access Gateway (MAG)

Exostar’s Managed Access Gateway (MAG) is a secure identity and access management cloud service for the Aerospace & Defense industries. With MAG, organizations enjoy benefits like account management, web-based single sign-on user access, and a single place to connect to partner applications.

Phone One-Time Password (OTP)

Exostar’s Phone One Time Password (OTP) is a two-factor authentication (2FA) which allows you to register your mobile telephone or land line telephone to receive a one-time password credential (numeric code) via text or voice. Phone OTP is used in combination with your MAG User ID/email and password, and is required each time you login to MAG to access applications that require the credential. Using this two-factor authentication (Phone OTP + User ID + Password) reduces the risk of unauthorized access to your account and provides added security.

Partner Information Manager (PIM)

Exostar’s Partner Information Manager (PIM) is a risk management tool allows suppliers to complete and share the Concise DFARS / DFARS 252 CS and the NIST SP 800-171 Questionnaire and form with Huntington Ingalls Industries. The Concise DFARS/DFARS 252 CS Form helps HII decide if suppliers need to proceed with the submission of the NIST SP 800-171 Questionnaire.
The information that a supplier partner provides in the NIST SP 800-171 Questionnaire is used by HII to ensure unclassified DoD information residing on the supplier’s internal information system is safeguarded from cyber incidents mandated by Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) regulations.

Information Manager

Exostar’s Information Manager is a secure supplier information portal that enables targeted collaborative information sharing between buyers and their suppliers. The service provides a SharePoint collaboration space dedicated to communication between the buyer and supplier. Delivery of announcements, files, scorecards, purchase order reference documentation and other targeted content is supported through integration with an ERP system or manual upload to the supplier site. The SharePoint foundation allows for unique configuration of the service to support your supplier portal requirements.

Onboarding Module (OBM)

Exostar’s Onboarding Module ocuses on providing the ability to manage vetting and certification of prospective and existing Suppliers. It contains built-in data collection processes and workflows, automated features, and services that allow users to continuously review and make future decisions on supplier relationships.

HII Accepted Credentials

To access certain applications your Partner – HII, may require two-factor authentication (2FA) credentials. (You can contact HII directly to verify which credential(s) is needed for the specific application you are accessing). Below is a list of accepted credentials by HII:
