We are thrilled to announce a new version of Certification Assistant with significant improvements. The version you are currently using has been renamed Exostar Certification Assistant (Legacy) and will continue to be available to all subscribers. We want to make this new version available to all of our customers as quickly as possible, but adopting this new version will require some data migration from the older version. We are still working through the details on how to automate that process and will reach out to you when we can facilitate your individual migration.

Q: Do I need to do anything to keep using the solution I purchased?
A: No. You can continue to use the solution you purchased under its new name, Exostar Certification Assistant (Legacy)
Q: Will my renewal price change with this new version?
A: At this time, Certification Assistant pricing is not changing.
Q: When can I get the new version of Certification Assistant?
A: Given the different underlying technologies, moving to the new version will require a migration of your existing data. Exostar is working on a plan to make that as automated and painless as possible and will make additional instructions available in the near future.

Exostar’s Certification Assistant runs on the MAG platform for secure access control, and all users are required to obtain a MAG account in order to access the Certification Assistant application.
In order to add new users to Certification Assistant, MAG Organization Administrators can navigate to the Administration tab, Add New User sub-tab, and input the new user’s information. Select Certification Assistant under Application Access and the new user receives an email invitation to activate their user account.
