Certification Assistant CMMC 2.0/NIST Dashboard

Once you select Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) from the main Certification Assistant Standard or Premium home page, you are redirected to the CMMC Dashboard. From this screen, you can also switch back and forth from the CMMC view and the NIST 800-171 view. Selecting this option changes the focus on the progress toward certification chart to NIST 800-171 compliance. This page provides an overview of the dashboard features.

Toolbar

The Toolbar provides tabs to navigate through the system and to complete each of the following options and sections:

  • System Description
  • Stakeholders
  • System Environment
  • Policies
  • Self Assessment
  • Risk Management
  • Approval
  • SSP/POAM

Summary Bar

The Summary bar provides a button to switch back and forth from the CMMC View or the NIST View, and the summary bar also shows your current CMMC Level, Target CMMC Level and the number of controls in each level of implementation: Implemented, Partially Implemented, Not Implemented, Not Applicable.

Please remember, Certification Assistant Standard covers levels 1-2 and Certification Assistant Premium covers levels 1-3.

Progress Toward Certification

The Progress Toward Certification gives a complete roadmap of the progress in each CMMC or NIST domain, toward your goal certification level. Please note, if you are using Certification Assistant Standard, levels four and five in this section are grayed out. Otherwise, if you are using Premium, data is populated for each level. To read the chart, please see the guidelines below:

  • When a Level contains zero completed controls, it displays in orange with the number (x/total), as well as Incomplete.
  • When a Level contains between one and the full number of controls, the cell displays in light blue and shows In Progress.
  • When a Level has all controls complete, the cell displays as green and shows Complete.
  • When a Level is complete, the Self-Assessment Level column displays the highest level currently completed.
  • The Progress to Target Level ‘X’ column displays a percentage of progress toward the goal.
